Raute vs Track-POD: When Paying per Driver Stops Making Sense
Track-POD charges for each driver, with three at the least. Raute charges one price for the team. For a crew of three to twenty drivers that is the whole difference in the bill, so this comparison starts there and then looks at what each one does that the other does not.
The short answer
Track-POD is a mature proof of delivery and routing system built for distributors: wholesale, food and beverage, HoReCa, utilities. It is strong on scanning, integrations and paperwork, and it is priced per driver from $59 a month (or $49 billed yearly), with a three driver minimum. Raute does the daily planning, the driver app, live tracking and proof of delivery for one flat price, from $24.99 a month for up to 5 drivers. If your team is small and your orders arrive as emails, spreadsheets or PDFs, Raute costs far less. If you scan barcodes on every crate or need thousands of integrations, Track-POD is built for that and Raute is not.
What a month costs
| Team | Track-POD Advanced | Raute |
|---|---|---|
| 3 drivers | $177 (3 × $59) | $24.99 (Starter, up to 500 orders) |
| 5 drivers | $295 | $24.99 (Starter) or $59.99 above 500 orders |
| 10 drivers | $590 | $59.99 (Pro, up to 2,000 orders) |
| 20 drivers | $1,180 | $99.99 (Pioneer, up to 10,000 orders) |
Monthly billing, prices checked on each company's own pricing page on October 19, 2026. Track-POD Advanced covers up to 6,000 orders a month; billed yearly it is $49 per driver, so 10 drivers come to $490. Prices change, so check Track-POD's page before you decide.
Track-POD also sells per order plans with unlimited drivers, starting at $510 a month for 3,000 orders. Those make sense for a large fleet with steady volume. For a team running a few hundred to two thousand orders a month, the per driver plans are the cheaper way in, and they are what the table shows.
What both of them do
On the basics they match. Both plan routes with time windows, give drivers an iPhone and Android app, collect a signature and photos at the door, show customers a tracking link, and let you start from more than one warehouse. Both have an API for pushing orders in.
Where Track-POD is ahead
Where Raute is ahead
The bill, first. A three driver team pays $177 a month on Track-POD before anything else; on Raute the same team pays $24.99. There is no driver minimum, so a two van business is not paying for a third.
Then the morning. Track-POD expects orders to arrive through a spreadsheet import, an integration or someone typing them in. In the small teams we talk to, they arrive as an email from a client, a spreadsheet from the office or a printed list. Raute's AI order reader takes those as they are and turns them into stops, so the day is planned before anyone has retyped an address.
And trying it costs nothing. Raute has a 7-day trial with no card, and a free route planner that splits up to 25 stops between up to 5 drivers with no account at all, so you can see how it plans your own streets first.
Which one fits your team
Pick Track-POD if you run a distribution business that scans goods, connects delivery to an ERP or accounting system, or has more than 40 drivers. It is built for that and it shows.
Pick Raute if you are 2 to 40 drivers, your orders come in by email, spreadsheet or PDF, and you want planning, the driver app and proof of delivery without a per driver bill.
