Raute wasn't designed in a boardroom. It was built to fix the delivery days we were living ourselves.
Our story
Raute was born inside a Southern California medical-equipment delivery operation. Every morning started the same way: an hour or two of copying patient addresses out of a billing system, planning routes by hand on a whiteboard, and texting them to drivers. Every afternoon brought the same calls — "where's my delivery?" — and every few weeks, the same dispute: a customer insisting something never arrived, and no signature, photo, or GPS record to prove it had.
When we went shopping for software, the "real" platforms quoted enterprise prices — hundreds of dollars a month for a handful of vans — and the affordable apps only handled a single driver. The middle, where most American delivery businesses actually live, was empty.
So we built it ourselves. Raute became the tool our own dispatchers and drivers used every day — AI that reads the morning's orders in any format, one-tap route optimization across the whole fleet, a live map for dispatch, and a signature, photo, and GPS stamp on every single drop. When other operators started asking for it, Raute became a product.
Today Raute serves small and mid-sized fleets across the US — from medical-equipment and pharmacy delivery to couriers, caterers, florists, and distributors — with the same promise we made ourselves: professional delivery software, at a price a 5-van business can actually justify. The iOS app has been live on the App Store since April 2026, and the product still ships improvements weekly, driven by feedback from fleets running it daily.
